About SB Forestry
Based in the Scottish Borders, SB Forestry Ltd are the UK agents for EcoLog forestry machines and Viking Harvester heads. With the merger of EcoLog and Gremo, SB Forestry are able to offer forwarders with 7.5, 10.5, 12.5 ton fitted with stage V Cummins engines and 14 and 20 ton capacity forwarders fitted with stage V Volvo penta engines. The EcoLog 6 wheeled pendulum arm suspension harvester comes in 5 size options to suit every operation on challenging terrain. We can also offer 8-wheeled harvesters in both thinning and clear fell capabilities with the 1058H5 and 688F series. All EcoLog harvesters have a choice of harvesting head with Logmax, SP and Waratah offered directly from the factory, or Viking offered by SB Forestry.
Eco Log machines work according to a ‘cut to length’ method, an approach that helps generate less emissions & a lower environmental impact. Their engines are fuel-efficient, not only lowering operating costs, but meeting the industry’s tough emissions standards.
James Waterson, of Green Business Finance, has assisted Scott, of SB Forestry, and his customers in buying new & used machines, many of which are for estates and thinning work where there is a significant consideration around low environmental impact and operational footprint. Just like Eco Log with their innovation and development of forestry machines, GBF and SB Forestry are committed to contribute to a long term and sustainable forestry industry.
