Glennon Brothers has announced the acquisition of the Hereford-based Pontrilas Group, adding £120m of turnover to its business.
Founded in 1947 by the Hickman family, the Pontrilas Group is a timber processing business strategically situated on the Welsh border and with an annual sawn capacity believed to be approximately 200,000m3.

The kilns are powered by a biomass boiler, using carbon neutral waste products from the sawmill to dry our timber.
