The new augers and trenchers join the Bobcat attachment line-up, one of the most extensive on the market. To take full advantage of this, all of Bobcat’s compact machines have been developed as tool carriers, which in combination with the wide selection of attachments, can be employed to tackle challenging applications within construction, landscaping, agriculture, demolition, recycling, material handling and many other industries.
Precision and Power
The new generation of robust and reliable auger drives comprising the 11H, 28H, 28LH, 33H and 55LH models, is compatible with a wide range of Bobcat excavators, skid-steer and track loaders, small articulated loaders, compact wheel loaders and telehandlers. The new auger attachments allow users to dig holes with speed and plumb-line accuracy. Using heavy-duty hydraulics with flows across the five models covering the range from 30 to 200 l/min, the auger attachments can bite into soil in any condition with ease and efficiency.
The new range of augers uses the existing Bobcat breaker fixing caps to cover the full range of Bobcat mini excavators without introducing any new fixing caps. Bobcat has also introduced new loader frames (Mini and Standard) for use with the new range of augers.
Versatility in Motion
The new generation of Bobcat trenchers encompasses the LT90, LT90 HD, LT120, LT120 HD and LT150 HD models, built for reliability, durability and outstanding performance. For the first time, these trenchers are also available for Bobcat mini excavators.
Spoil is efficiently removed and finely crumbled, making it easy to compact back into the trench for a stable foundation. The five new trencher models cover digging depths from 450-1500 mm, along with a selection of chains to match different job requirements. The trenchers use the existing Bobcat breaker fixing caps to ensure compatibility with Bobcat mini excavators. The Mini and Standard loader frames are the same as those for use with the new auger range.
High Performance, Enhanced Operator Experience
Product features in the new augers include top mounted hose ports, where angled fittings route hydraulic hoses upwards from the hood, providing unobstructed operation and allowing the drives to fit easily down the hole. The integrated motor reduces the size and weight of the drive, as well as lowering the number of parts and potential leak points. The augers also provide added digging depth, gaining an extra 30 cm plus of dig depth because the entire drive unit follows the bit into the hole.
There are two LH auger drives in the range that come with an innovative LED alignment system integrated into the auger drive’s hood. It offers operators a clear, simultaneous view of both the drive and the digging hole.
When the auger is perfectly aligned, its lights display a full green ring. If it is misaligned, a mix of green and red lights appears, with the following illuminated green side guiding the operator to re-centre the auger for a full green indication.
Powerful Features for Tough Jobs
In the trenchers, product features include a heavy-duty crumbing system: a robust, spring-loaded crumber keeps constant contact with the trench floor, ensuring thorough spoil removal and a clean, finished trench without the need for extra passes. For added versatility, the crumber can be easily folded away when not required. The powerful planetary drive delivers exceptional torque and high-power output for tough digging conditions. This system enhances durability, extends service life and maximizes overall efficiency.
An adjustable skid foot features up to four preset digging depths: this provides flexibility to work at multiple depths using the same trencher model. Operators can quickly select the right setting to meet the specific requirements of each job. There is also side-shift capability for confined spaces: the trencher’s frame can be shifted to the side, making it easy to dig right up against foundations, kerbs and other permanent structures.
