James Jones & Sons has achieved a significant milestone by commemorating 25 years of operation at its Lockerbie Sawmill. This accomplishment has been formally acknowledged by Powerhand, with Managing Director Murray Clark presenting a commemorative plaque. This gesture recognizes the longstanding and productive working relationship that has been fostered between the two organizations over the years.

Murray Clark represents the fourth generation of the Clark family, whose involvement in forestry engineering in Parkgate, Dumfriesshire, dates to a blacksmith workshop established by William, his great-grandfather, in 1924. Both Clark Engineering and sister company Powerhand operate from the original location
