A 3-axle low bed with panther axle technology and 1-axle dolly starts working at Metz Bagger & Transporte. With this heavy-duty combination, the first DOLL entered the fleet of the family business from the Upper Palatinate.
It was particularly important for Mr. Metz to be able to drive his large excavators up to 36 t dead weight with a permanent special permit. This enables the existing deep bed length of 6,500 mm with a telescopic extension of another 4,500 mm. Using the dolly, up to 44 t can even be transported. The 2 750 mm wide low bed and foldable loading area widening to 3 200 mm easily accommodate excavators of this weight class.
With its steering angle of up to 55 °, the panther axle technology achieves particular maneuverability even in tight construction sites. Another plus is the built-in lift axles, which save fuel on empty runs and protect the tires at the same time. The panther convinces with maximum ease of use in combination with the computer-assisted CAN bus system DOLL tronic. Adjustments to the driving level, redirection or automatic engagement can be carried out conveniently from the cab using the radio remote control.
