Due to the continued growth of PONSSE, we are currently looking to strengthen our Service Team by recruiting the following Full Time Positions –

Workshop Engineer

As a workshop Engineer you will play a key role behind the scenes by supporting the service department through completing routine service work, maintaining and repairing customer machinery and preparing new machinery for delivery, whilst providing an excellent level of service to our customers. You will be based at our workshop at Annan, Dumfriesshire.

The Candidate should have:

  • Good knowledge of engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Ability to use welding and cutting equipment.
  • Computer literate.
  • Forestry, Plant or Agricultural background preferred.

Operator Trainer / Demo Driver

The Operator Trainer / Demo Driver will be responsible for providing operator training on site during the delivery of New & Used PONSSE products for new and exhisiting customers throughout the whole of the UK and occasionally Ireland. You will be responsible for providing training covering all products (Forwarders, harvesters, heads, etc.), using effective training methods such as onsite training and demonstrations. You will also be required to promote and demonstrate new PONSSE products and technology throughout the whole of the UK.

The Candidate should have:

  • Good knowledge on Forestry Machines.
  • Forestry Machine Operational Experience.
  • Customer Focused.
  • Willing to travel throughout IU & IRE.
  • Hold a Full UK driving Licence.

Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer you will play a key role behind the scenes by supporting the service department through completing routine servicing work, maintaining and repairing customer machinery onsite, whilst providing an excellent level of service to our customers. Also, in this role, you will be required to travel to customer sites throughout the whole of the UK.

The Candidate should have:

  • Good knowledge of engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Ability to use welding and cutting equipment.
  • Computer literate.
  • Forestry, Plant or Agricultural background preferred.
  • Willing To Travel.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
