The new Seppi R20 pick-up cl sets new standards in mulching technology for skid steer and compact loaders.
The Seppi R20 pick-up mulcher sets a new benchmark in mulching technology for skid steers and compact loaders.
Constructed with a housing and radial rotor profiles made from high-strength, wear-resistant steel, this mulcher guarantees exceptional durability, even in challenging operating conditions. The pick-up mulcher efficiently collects branches, cuttings, and harvest residues, processing them into homogeneous mulch in a single operation. This mulch naturally decomposes over time, thereby enhancing soil quality in the long term, enriching it with essential nutrients, and optimally preparing it for subsequent cultivation cycles.

Particularly noteworthy is the innovative RIC rotor. Its special design with disc profiles and spirally arranged tools ensures optimal mulching. The rotor with carbide-tipped MINI TIP tools mulches wood with a diameter of up to 20 cm (8 in) and even more depending on conditions. The machine also handles stony ground reliably.
Bionic Feed enhances the efficiency and reliability of the mulching process by adaptively supplying material to the rotor, thereby resulting in superior processing performance. The pick-up rotors effectively collect the material and channel it into the confined space between the tool and the counter blades. The hardened Counter Cutter represents a critical component in achieving optimal results. Four replaceable rows located beneath the housing ensure uniform and precise shredding, exhibit high stability, and can be easily replaced when necessary. Consequently, the R20 pick-up CL operates continuously with maximum efficiency, maintaining its precision comparable to its initial performance even after extensive use.
The standardised mounting plate, designed in accordance with SAE standards, facilitates the seamless attachment of the mulcher to a skid steer or compact loader. The R20 pick-up CL functions within a flow rate range of 90 to 160 l/min (20 to 35 gal/min). Through a continuously adjustable Vario Flow motor, each skid steer loader can be utilised optimally for maximum operational performance.
The pick-up rotors are equipped with their own hydraulic drive, characterised by robust, reliable performance due to the rotor’s flywheel mass. Featuring an integrated pressure relief valve and a well-organised dashboard with two pressure gauges, the design prioritises operational safety and user-friendliness. Standard equipment includes connection hoses and quick couplings conforming to ISO standards.
The hydraulic hood is engineered to open automatically when resistance increases, ensuring a smooth material flow, while the floating function optimises ground adaptation. Height-adjustable wheels further support achieving consistent working results.
