Apprentice Grounds – Arboriculture – East Riding Of Yorkshire Council
Contract: Fixed term for 29 months
Hours: 37 hours plus 2 contracted hour’s overtime
Base: Willerby, East Riding of Yorkshire
Do you have an interest and enthusiasm for Arboriculture – Trees and Timber? Would you like to play an active role in undertaking manual tree maintenance works? Then this is the job for you!
The Apprentice Grounds Person (Arboriculture) will work alongside trained and experienced staff while you undertake, under supervision, manual tree maintenance works across the East Riding.
This is a structured training role and day release to college will be required at Askham Bryan College with formal training to be undertaken to work towards (and does not already hold), a Level 2 apprenticeship standard in Arboriculture.
This is a fixed term role and you will be based at our Willerby Depot. You will work 37 hours per week, plus 2 contracted hour’s overtime. On offer is a salary of £11790 per annum.
