John Deere 1610G forwarder – Solid performance in a familiar package
The powerful engine, 16-tonne load capacity and large, variable load space of the 1610G forwarder, which was born out of customer wishes, make work smooth and fast regardless of the terrain. The comfort-oriented cab and familiar, easy-to-use controls support effortless work even in demanding locations.
The cargo space has an area of 6.1 m² and is adjustable in width. Thanks to the variable cargo space, the machine is narrow and agile in thinning, but allows its maximum capacity to be used during regeneration felling. The integrated sorting system makes it easy to transport different types of timber in the same load.
The 1610G has a 15% larger load capacity than the 1510G, allowing it to carry up to a ton more wood per load. This significantly improves efficiency. In addition, the 1610G has 10% more engine power and 8% more pulling power than the previous model.
