The company is now focusing on the future generations of log loaders, feller bunchers, and hydraulic yarders—excavator-based yarders under the Falcon brand.

Initial Impact & Change Since the Acquisition
Over the past year, DC Equipment has demonstrated its dedication to enhancing the Madill product line. After acquiring Madill, the company swiftly reintroduced the 4000 Log Loader to the market within 12 months, proving its ability to revitalise and prioritise the innovation the legacy machinery brand that Madill is known as.
Today, with the new 3000B Log Loader thriving in Canadian forestry operations, DC Equipment is leveraging its expertise to broaden its outreach. The company is now targeting key product lines, including the 4000 Log Loader, feller bunchers under the Madill brand, and hydraulic yarders under the Falcon brand.
Tom Filmer, the program spokesperson, explained the significance of this expansion.
“During our initial research phase post-acquisition, it became clear there’s significant demand for Madill feller bunchers. While we couldn’t address everything at once, the time is right to explore this opportunity.”
