KWF-Tagung World’s greatest forestry technology event takes place in Schwarzenborn, right in the center of
Germany 19th through 22nd of June 2024
The 18th KWF-Tagung takes place from 19th through 22nd of June 2024, in Schwarzenborn (Hessia, Germany). It is the largest forestry demo fair of the year and therefore the most important international meeting place. On 150 ha of field and forest area, a great number of exhibitors from over 23 countries will present state-of-the-art technology and their latest developments.
Thousands of visitors are expected to attend.
The KWF-Tagung traditionally consists of three elements – the KWF-Expo (forest machines and innovations show), in-field demonstrations and the congress.
On the large demonstration areas of the KWF-Expo, manufacturers from around the world present their products and machines in action. The whole range of forestry technology is displayed – from
splitting wedge to personal protective equipment, chainsaw and log splitter to large machines including ICT (information and communication technology), transport of timber, municipal
applications, energy engineering and occupational safety.
Outstanding innovations are awarded by the KWF members award. Laureates as well as nominees will be giving the interested audience a broad impression of the innovative strength and inventiveness of the forestry industry.
The program is enriched by a range of special exhibitions on current subjects. This year’s key aspects are “integrated forest fire management – before, during and after the forest fire“, „follow the timber“ on tracking tracing throughout the timber supply chain, „campus forst – showcase for the forestry industry“ and „forests – insects – damaging“ –containing insect pest groups with monitoring,
prevention, conservation and technical aids.
