The decision is part of the restructuring of Kesla’s business and financial situation and the structural assessment process published on December 1, 2025. The restructuring and structural review process covers the entire Group and, as previously announced, includes a strategic review of Kesla’s various product groups. The recovery and structural assessment process will continue as planned, and the decisions made on the basis of it will be announced separately.Â
The progress of the divestment process for the tractor equipment product group will also be announced separately. The process may lead to a corporate restructuring or other changes concerning the tractor equipment product group. Kesla will retain the product rights of the product group related to Defence applications and applications other than tractor-oriented applications. The process is expected to be completed during 2026.
“The basis for everything is that Kesla will continue to have a competitive product and service range that creates added value for customers. We will continue the structural assessment process and, in line with our strategy, focus on the product groups in which Kesla has the clearest competitive advantages. Our outlook in the defence industry is strong, and we want to ensure sufficient resources and focus on the development of our KESLA Defence product group, in particular. With regard to tractor equipment, we have come to the conclusion based on a careful strategic assessment that the divestment of the product group for tractor-mounted civilian applications is the best solution overall,” comments Pasi Nieminen, CEO of Kesla Oyj.
