FORST16-18 live with great regret.
The ongoing lockdown and the unpredictable development of the mutations significantly increases market uncertainty among exhibitors and visitors. “Based on the current situation, we have reassessed the feasibility of the event and unfortunately come to the conclusion that we cannot perform the FORST live with WILD & FISCH on their original date. Our customers, partners and employees trust us. They can also have this confidence in critical situations,” emphasizes Messe Managing Director Sandra Kircher. “We have made this decision with a heavy heart, but the current market uncertainty does not allow for an alternative valuation. Clarity and predictability are important goods for us,” says project manager Volker Matern, underlining the situation.
FORST live is the leading demo show for forestry technology and renewable energies in Germany. In 2019, more than 400 exhibitors from 15 nations presented their comprehensive range of products on the 46,000 m2 open-air area of messe Offenburg, as well as in the 6,000 m2 Baden Arena. A total of 32,972 visitors from Germany and abroad used the trade fair to receive practical information and advice on numerous further developments and innovations at machine demonstrations and specialist forums.
Decision-makers from forestry and agriculture, GaLa construction and the municipal economy, as well as trade visitors from the construction industry, the energy sector, the timber trade, the hunters, the public service and the sawing industry, are among the visitors in addition to interested end users.
Through professional and practical machine and equipment demonstrations, which underline the unique event character of FORST live, visitors can immerse themselves first-hand in the world of forestry technology and experience the fascination of the raw material wood from planting to harvesting and the many different possibilities of using it.
