Södra will reduce timber and pulpwood prices as a result of the market situation.
Södra -As a result of the storms Johannes and Dave, the supply of forest raw materials has increased in Sweden. The supply of pine logs has increased during the first part of the year, and demand is somewhat limited. At the same time, the price picture for spruce logs has been pulled apart in Götaland. The supply of fibre (pulpwood and sawmill chips) is expected to remain relatively stable, while the market price for fibre has fallen.

Transparency
Södra’s only mission is to renew and refine the values of the forest estate, and our only clients are the members. This means, among other things, that transparency is fundamental to us. Therefore, you can follow the development of timber prices over time, read about our different premiums and use the Price Calculation tool in My Forest Farm to get an idea of the timber price for a planned felling in advance. You can also rely on a fair price that is guided by performance. We think that is important.
