The WESTTECH WOODCRACKER 20 Year Anniversary Celebration
On September 26, 2025, WESTTECH Woodcracker celebrated a truly special occasion: 20 years of company history – and at the same time the milestone birthday of company founder Werner Steininger, the visionary mind behind this success story. A double reason for joy, celebrated with pride, gratitude, and great passion.

Come Together – Encounters, Memories, and New Inspiration
From the very start of the “Come Together,” the special atmosphere of the day was unmistakable. Friends, partners, customers, and companions from near and far came together to share memories, reflect on the developments of the past two decades, and shape new ideas for the future. In a warm and friendly setting, there was laughter, lively discussions, and heartfelt celebration of the strong community that has defined WESTTECH from the very beginning.
Machine Demonstration – Power, Precision, and Innovation in Action
A true highlight of the anniversary was the impressive machine demonstration, featuring more than
20 carrier vehicles and numerous WOODCRACKER® attachments. The sheer power of the technology, the precise interaction between people and machines, and the visible excitement of the audience made this showcase an unforgettable experience. It was a perfect illustration of what WESTTECH stands for: innovation born from passion, grown through experience, and driven by vision. During the demo, the new and smallest cutting head, Woodcracker CL140, was presented. It impresses with a cutting diameter of up to 180 mm in softwood and 150 mm in hardwood. It features a gripper opening of up to 440 mm and has an own weight of 110 kg. The cutting head is suitable for mini excavators with an operating weight of 1–4 tons.
An Evening Full of Emotions
The celebration continued into the night with an evening event full of joy, laughter, and dancing – the perfect conclusion to a wonderful day. Surrounded by family, friends, customers, and employees, Werner Steininger looked back on the past years and expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who has accompanied and shaped WESTTECH’s journey.
