Best Utility Tractor award 2024 at Agrotechnica goes to the McCORMICK X5
After voting, the jury awarded the prize to the Italian tractor manufacturer McCORMICK X5.120 P3-DRIVE It is powered by an F36 engine manufactured by FPT Industrial, part of the Iveco group.
Launched in 1998 by the Italian magazine Trattori, the prestigious annual TOTY Award presents the latest innovations in the international tractor industry.
This year, the jury consisted of 26 journalists representing Europe’s most influential agricultural magazines, websites, TV programmes and social networks.
The best utility tractor of 2024 is the McCormick X5.120 P3-DRIVE was chosen for its compactness, durability and versatile features, which, according to the jury, makes it an ideal machine for daily use.
The F36 Stage V engine represents FPT Industrial’s flexible solution for light and medium tractors with power ratings of over 56 kW (75 hp). According to the manufacturer, it offers high performance and low operating costs in a very compact design, which is key in agricultural equipment applications of this size.
