New Ford Ranger Super Duty Is Arriving In Europe

Ford Ranger

Ford has introduced a new special edition model, the Ford Ranger Super Duty, to the European market. This model has been specifically designed to address the requirements of the most arduous tasks in challenging terrain.

Ford is evaluating the potential introduction of its enhanced Ford Ranger Super Duty model to the United Kingdom, targeting applications that require greater durability than what is offered by the standard pickup variant. The Super Duty designation has been a mainstay in the United States for over 25 years, serving as a specialized and robust version of Ford’s F-series pickups. However, this designation has not previously been applied to the smaller Ford Ranger in the UK, despite its usage in Australia.

The 2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty serves as a remarkable bridge between midsize and full-size trucks, offering an impressive blend of enhanced towing capacity, robust payload options, and exceptional off-road capabilities, all while preserving the Ranger’s agility and maneuverability. Tailored for fleet operators, remote work scenarios, and heavy-duty tasks in markets beyond the U.S., this truck stands out in its category.

Its heart is a powerful turbo diesel V6 engine that delivers strong performance, while the reinforced chassis ensures durability in challenging conditions. With its work-oriented features, the Ranger Super Duty is designed to tackle the most demanding environments, making it an indispensable and rugged pickup for those who require reliability and versatility in their vehicles.

The Ranger Super Duty is the first Ranger model to feature Smart Hitch and Onboard Scales driver assistance technologies. The systems display the trailer’s drawbar weight and provide the driver with a real-time overview of the weight of the load on the platform directly on the cab’s 12-inch touchscreen.

The Ford Trailer Backup Assist simplifies the process of reversing with a trailer. All the driver assistance systems in the Ford Ranger Super Duty are consistent with those found in other Ranger models. The rear sensors and cameras are integrated into a single unit, making it easier to install superstructures.

Additionally, the built-in module provides navigation, online services, and software updates. The Ford Ranger Super Duty is now available for order, with the first deliveries expected to begin in the second half of 2026.
