Responsibilities
- Conduct safe tree felling and forwarding operations in clear fell and thinning areas.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental standards, using site plans and risk assessments.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, working with the workshop as needed.
- Assist in tracking timber stock levels at roadside and on-site locations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience working in Forestry with a strong commitment to health and safety and machinery maintenance.
- Qualifications: FMOCS in Harvesting and Forwarding, full UK driving license, and NPTC 208/209 or equivalent certification.
