Elmia Wood will take place every two years, dates set for 2025, 2027 and 2029
Elmia Wood, one of Elmia’s most international and long-lived fairs, is now taking the next step in developing the concept. As part of this initiative, Elmia pauses the nationally focused SkogsElmia and arranges Elmia Wood every two years instead of every four. This change is made possible through a new land agreement at Bratteborgs gård, that extends until 2029, with a possibility for extension until 2037.
– We are proud of Elmia Wood as a forestry fair with high quality and an international focus. It is a concept that gathers the entire forest industry in the forest, and we see great potential in letting the fair continue to grow and develop at Bratteborg, says Johannes Hansson, fair manager for Elmia Wood.
But first, Elmia looks forward to welcome exhibitors and visitors from various parts of the world to Elmia Wood 5–7 June 2025, at Bratteborgs gård outside Vaggeryd.
Increased interest in Elmia Wood
We see an increased interest from exhibitors for 2025 compared to the 2022 event, and we therefore expect further growth for upcoming fairs.
– It is fantastic to see the increased interest from our exhibitors, and that planning for 2025 is in full swing. We continue to target visitors in the forestry sector, including professionals, small-scale operators, and family-run forestry businesses. They will undoubtedly have an impressive fair experience in the forest, adds Johannes Hansson.
Some of the major machinery manufacturers are currently absent from the exhibitor list, but we certainly hope to welcome them at future fairs.
