Easily move to the next job site without needing a special trailer, even in tight spaces. With a low height of just 3m, it can be transported on standard loaders with a loading height of up to 4m. Its 6.5m length allows for truck transport and operation on narrow construction sites.
Powerful performance
Featuring a 4-cylinder Komatsu diesel engine with 96kW, the WA170M-11 effectively loads, lifts, and moves nearly anything encountered on site. This engine complies with the latest EU stage V emissions standards and is provided with eco-friendly HVO diesel fuel as standard

Outstanding driving and driver comfort
The new model boasts impressive active driving performance. With its low center of gravity, the vehicle maintains a secure and stable stance on the road. Additionally, the air-suspended premium seat, equipped with a control console, offers enhanced comfort. An optional joystick steering system is available. Standard features include a rear-view camera that provides excellent all-around visibility.
Versatile
The new WA170M-11 is available with two types of loader linkages. Alongside the traditional Z-kinematics, Komatsu introduces its “Tool Linkage” kinematics, previously seen in larger models, for the first time in this class. This Tool Linkage kinematics is ideally suited for heavy attachments that need frequent changes. Consequently, the machine can be used flexibly with existing attachments for various tasks. Additionally, the new loader can be enhanced with high-flow hydraulics, extra control circuits, tool management, or a trailer coupling.
Reliable and durable
The newly designed diesel particulate filter, which requires replacement only after 6000 hours, facilitates extended, uninterrupted operation. The exhaust gas treatment process is entirely automatic, ensuring no workflow interruptions. Featuring a sturdy and stable design, all maintenance points are centralised and easily reachable from the ground via a hinged engine hood. Like all Komatsu compact wheel loaders, the cabin is tiltable for quick access to all components. The machine monitor displays all essential functions as standard, along with the complimentary Komtrax fleet management system.
