Job Title: Forestry Chargehand – Groundsperson – Level 3
Salary: £23153 per year including contractual overtime
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time – 37 hours + 2 hours contractual overtime
Base: Willerby, East Riding of Yorkshire
A vacancy has arisen in our forestry section for a team chargehand. You should be suitably qualified and knowledgeable in all aspects of arboriculture. Previous supervisory experience working in ground maintenance would be preferred.
You must hold a recognised qualification in arboriculture and a good appreciation of health and safety is of key importance. A full driving licence is essential and preferably hold an HGV licence to drive forestry vehicles with trailers over 7.5 tonne.
The post will be based at our Willerby depot and will involve travelling to all areas within the East Riding to carry out tree maintenance work. You will also be required to attend emergency call-outs, for which an additional payment will be made.
