Designed and developed in Canada, the TRAKX 400 is a high-performance, fully remote-controlled tracked tool carrier engineered to support a wide range of demanding operations.
More than a single-purpose machine, it’s a versatile platform that accommodates different attachments, giving operators the flexibility to adapt the equipment to specific applications and changing operational needs.
ONE PLATFORM. MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS.
At the heart of the TRAKX 400 is a simple concept: a powerful mobile platform that can perform multiple functions through interchangeable attachments. Built for challenging environments and demanding industrial operations, the TRAKX 400 combines mobility, power and versatility in a single remote-controlled machine.
Its modular design opens the door to a wide range of potential applications across several industries, including:
Forestry: Winch-assist operations, support for steep-terrain equipment and other specialised applications.
Mining: Equipment recovery, material handling, scaling and support for underground or surface operations
Construction and industrial operations: Lifting, pulling, excavation support and other tasks requiring specialized attachments.
BUILT ON TIMBERMAX EXPERTISE
TRAKX represents a natural evolution for TimberMAX, a Canadian manufacturer known internationally for its winch-assist solutions.
Since 2015, TimberMAX has built a strong international presence, with more than 150 machines sold across 15 countries. Working closely with customers and dealers worldwide has helped the company better understand the challenges operators face in the field.
That experience has played a key role in shaping TRAKX and its approach to developing versatile equipment for demanding applications.
That experience now forms the foundation of TRAKX. While TimberMAX continues to develop its established winch-assist product line, TRAKX introduces a new direction: remote-controlled mobile platforms designed to support multiple tools and applications across different industries.
“With TRAKX, we wanted to take the knowledge and experience we’ve gained over the years and push it further. The TRAKX 400 is not just another machine. It’s a platform designed to evolve with our customers’ needs and support a wide range of applications.. This launch represents an exciting new chapter for our company.” – Mathieu Lavoie, CEO at TimberMAX / TRAKX INTRODUCING THE TRAKX 400
The TRAKX 400 was officially unveiled on October 15, 2026, during an international gathering at TimberMAX’s manufacturing facility in Rouyn-Noranda, Canada. Customers, dealers and industry partners representing more than eight countries travelled to Canada to discover the new platform and learn about its capabilities.
The first TRAKX 400 was presented with a heavy-duty winch configuration, demonstrating the machine’s potential for demanding pulling and winch-assist applications while highlighting the platform’s adaptability for future attachments.
BEYOND THE TRAKX 400: A BROADER VISION FOR MOBILE EQUIPMENT
While the TRAKX 400 introduces the brand’s first remote-controlled platform, TRAKX’s expertise extends well beyond this technology. The brand is built around three core areas of specialisation: remote-controlled mobile equipment, operator-driven mobile equipment, and specialised engineering services, including converting existing machinery to remote-controlled operation. This approach lets TRAKX develop complete mobile equipment solutions while helping customers adapt and modernise their existing machinery to meet evolving operational requirements.
Supported by TimberMAX’s manufacturing expertise and international dealer network, TRAKX aims to bring innovative and practical solutions to the forestry, mining, construction and industrial sectors worldwide.
