Forestry Groundsperson Required
Salary: £20978 (including contractual overtime)
Employer: East Riding of Yorkshire Council
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time – 37 hours per week plus two hours contractual overtime
Base: Willerby, East Riding of Yorkshire
A vacancy has arisen in our forestry team for a Groundsperson to carry out tree maintenance work. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has previously undertaken this role or has experience in grounds maintenance.
This role requires working at height. You will be required to use various specialist machinery, such as chainsaw and a chipper. Full training will be provided.
A good appreciation of health and safety is of key importance. A full driving licence is preferred.
You will be based at our Willerby depot and will involve travelling to all areas within the East Riding.
