“Professional users don’t just need powerful devices. They need systems that cover many tasks, reduce complexity and make investments usable in the long term,” says Michael Traub, Chairman of the Executive Board of STIHL AG. “This is exactly where ALLPRO comes in. The alliance with Kärcher expands the possible applications of our battery system to include further professional applications and thus creates additional added value in the everyday work of our customers.”

“STIHL and Kärcher are two family-owned companies whose success has always been based on innovative strength and uncompromising quality awareness. Through the interaction of our devices, we are creating much more than just a technical solution: We are consistently driving forward the electrification of professional applications and thus securing a decisive advantage for our customers,” says Hartmut Jenner, Chairman of the Board of Management of Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG.

The alliance brings tangible advantages to professional users: they benefit from a system that combines maximum performance with a high degree of flexibility, as they will be able to use the same high-performance batteries and chargers for both their Kärcher cleaning tools and their STIHL power tools in the future. STIHL customers can rely on full compatibility with the previous AP system. Particularly attractive: Existing AP batteries can also be used in full with the new Kärcher cordless tools. For Kärcher customers, ALLPRO is a completely new platform. However, Kärcher continues to guarantee full service, spare parts, and battery availability for existing tools from the previous Battery Universe. The result is a working environment for professionals in which they can cover the entire spectrum of daily gardening, forestry, and cleaning tasks with just one battery system – a clear advantage in terms of efficiency, logistics, and cost-effectiveness, and a technological milestone in the respective industries. The new batteries will be available from STIHL dealers from August 1, 2026. At Kärcher, the market launch of the new batteries and tools will take place on January 1, 2027.

Both companies focus on maximum technological expertise, proven reliability and solutions that make everyday professional work more efficient and easier. In addition to the two traditional companies, numerous other cooperation partners will use the ALLPRO battery system in their tools, for example, in forestry winches, implement carriers, or mobile filling station systems. This means that users from the forestry, gardening and landscaping, construction, facility management, or aid organisations have access to a system of more than 120 devices powered by the same battery packs. A sophisticated and reliable charging and energy management system rounds off the range.
